Film Night: Hope Hall

PSFC member Hope Hall is an artist, filmmaker, cinematographer, and photographer working at the seam of experimental cinema, performance, and community-rooted organizing. Her work traces the quiet architectures of care, justice, and memory, shaping image, sound, and text into intimate studies of how private experience reverberates through collective life. Her short films have screened and received awards at over 40 festivals worldwide. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Stanford, and the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program, Hall draws on decades of work spanning presidential videography (Obama, Warren, Biden, Harris), the One Take New York series, and a wide-ranging freelance practice. She also teaches, writes, advises, and mentors. www.hopehall.com
The films will be screened by Zoom on Thursday, July 30th at 7pm. Filmmaker and cinematographer, Hope Hall will be present for a Q+A after the screening.
