The Gazette Emergency Production Reflow Workflow is a workaround tool created for emergency situations. There are some cases where article files may become corrupt or otherwise disabled from proceeding through the workflow. This has sometimes occurred toward the later stages of the workflow (usually around pre-production or the production stage). This Workflow can be used to bypass all of the steps prior to Production, and send articles directly to the production team.
Using the Emergency Reflow Workflow
The Emergency Reflow Workflow works much the same as the Gazette Editorial Workflow and Letters/Member Submissions Workflow, with one major exception: in the Assignment step (the first step) the article can be assigned to all four of the Production team members— Production Editor, Production Art Director, WordPress Producer, and Traffic Manager. Once assigned, they can proceed in the workflow as they would normally.
