The PSFC Performance Committee is excited to announce a third season of the PSFC Performance Series, starting September 2026. This season continues to feature a diverse range of performers from our Food Coop community presenting short sets one Friday each month at ShapeShifter Lab, directly across the street from the Coop.
The Performance Series celebrates the rich diversity of talent, creativity and stories of our 17,000+ Coop members, and the strength of community at the core of the Coop itself. Taking place once a month at ShapeShifter Lab, each event features four 20-minute sets from different performers or groups of performers, in the best kind of variety showcase one can imagine. It’s an eclectic, multifaceted mix of homegrown performances that adds new sounds and stories to your day and invariably adds unexpected dimensions to your Coop experience.
The Performance Series offers a chance to go deeper into our Coop community (and beyond) by providing a space for us to gather, listen and share. In our second season, we hosted 10 events at ShapeShifter Lab, featuring more than 40 talented Coop members and friends. With four short sets, each night of performances promises to surprise, delight and enrich. As audience members, we discover new sounds, words, art and music; as performers, we have a chance to share something brand new, revisit something old or experiment with something different.
For everyone involved, we have a chance to gather together and strengthen the cooperation and community that exemplify the founding principles of the Coop itself.

The first performance is Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at ShapeShifter Lab, featuring Vincent Pedi (stand-up comedy), Adam Finchler (folk and anti-folk songs), David Gilmore (honoring Coltrane and Miles), and Long English Hothouse (minimalist indie pop).
