Question: What’s the COVID testing rule in regards to shopping?

Dear Editor,

So, at the Coop, “returning to work while awaiting test results” is an actionable offense? Even if the rapid test was negative?

That might have made sense in the earlier days of COVID, but now that testing is available on almost every corner—including the Coop’s corner—many of us have been testing frequently because of, like Joe Holtz, vague symptoms, or because now that we’ve gone back to living our lives despite high infection rates it’s inevitable that we fear exposure.

This makes me wonder: have I broken a Coop rule each and every time I’ve been swabbed at the testing truck on Seventh Avenue and then shopped?
